Many Marriages.

This week has been characterized by the number of weddings taking place and the report of many more en tapis.

…At 4:30 Sunday afternoon Rev. Elmer Ridgeway and Miss Leona Dodson were united in marriage at the bride's home, Rev. A. W. Richardson performing the ceremony in the presence of members of the family and ten or twelve intimate friends.

Rev. Ridgeway is pastor of the Baptist church here, coming from Tennessee a few months ago. He has the necessary qualifications for a minister, is young and has a bright future before him. His bride is the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. M. Dodson and though a mere school girl, her modest disposition and refined character make her better qualified for wifehood than many older persons.

The couple is staying at the home of Prof. Floyd Dodson until Feb. 1st when the Baptist parsonage will be available and they will go to housekeeping…
