Graveside memorial services with full military honors will be in Woodworth Cemetery. Ralph Mason Ward of Woodworth died Thursday, July 20, 2000, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
He was a native of West Virginia; retired from the U.S. Postal Service; member of First Baptist Church in Woodworth; U.S. Air Force veteran serving during World War II where he was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Distinguished Unit Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0003, Alexandria.
Survivors are his wife, Esther Johnson Ward of Woodworth; son, Allen Ward of West Virginia; daughters, Linda Butler of Woodworth and Judy Roderick of Arlington, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
