- Charles B. Alt Sr., 84, of RD 1, Keyser, died Wednesday. Mr Alt was a retired Westvaco Corporation employee, a member of the Mineral County Senior Citizens, and a life member of the Papermakers and Paperworkers Union, Local 676. Mr Alt was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Etta Shreve Alt. He is survived by four sons, Dayton Alt, Belington WV; Charles B. Alt Jr., RD 2 Keyser; Ira C. Alt, Baltimore; and Robert L. Alt, RD 1, Keyser; five daughters, Mrs. Mabel R. Alridge, San Diego, Calif; Mrs. Beulah Staggs, RD 1, Keyser; Mrs. Mary M. Neff, Hot Springs, VA; Mrs. Catherine Robinson, Staunton, VA; and Mrs. Ruth D. Fazenbaker, Westernport; 30 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The body is at the Rotruck Funeral Home where friends will be received today from 2 to 9 pm. Friends will also be received at the residence after 4 pm Saturday. Services will be conducted at the Cabin Run Wesleyan United Methodist Church Sunday at 2 pm. Rev. William Fish and Rev. Leroy Imperio will officiate and interment will be in the Potomac Valley Memorial Park. The body will be taken to the church at 1 pm Sunday.
