Dr. G.M. Stevens Dies At Wabasha Saturday

Dr. G.M. Stevens, mother of Genevieve, Gwendolyn and Geradine Stevens, Bemidji high school graduates, passed away Saturday morning at a sanatorium at Wabasha, Minnesota, where she had been receiving care for some time. Gwendolyn had been there for the past three weeks because of her mother's critical condition and the other daughters left here Saturday morning but did not reach the bedside before her death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Rolling Stone, their old home, and interment was made at Sebeka. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Brackett left early Monday morning to attend the funeral. - Bemidji Sentinel.
Mrs. Stevens was a daughter of Mrs. John Sweeney, of near Nimrod, and made her home in Sebeka some years ago.
