John M Keller was born April 7, 1891, in rural Minot, to John and Margaret (Sauer) Keller. He moved with his parents to the Foxholm area where he grew up. After farming for a number of years, he moved to Grano. He was not married. He died of a heart attack while driving his car six miles east of Kenmare.

He was survived by four sisters: Margaret (Mrs. John C Bloms), Mary (Mrs. Cornelius Gruntjes), Gertrude (Mrs. Herman Schmitz) and Irene (Mrs. Leonard Backes). He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: William and Philip (infant), and four sisters; Mathilda (Mrs. William C Bloms), Elizabeth (infant), Cecelia (Mrs. Edward Clementich) and Adeline (Sister Marie de la Salette).

John M. Keller Dies
Rosary was said at Glenburn St. Philomena Catholic Church, Monday at 8 p.m. and Requiem High Mass was sung Tuesday, July 3, in St. Henry's Catholic Church of rural Foxholm for John N. Keller, 71, a retired farmer of Grano, who died Friday night from a heart attack he suffered while driving his car six miles east of Kenmare.
Rev. Anthony Kopp officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Ringen Funeral Home in Kenmare had charge of arrangements.
Rueben S. Jessen, Kenmare police chief and deputy sheriff, said Mr. Keller's car had backed into a ditch with the Grano man at the wheel.
Mr. Keller was born April 7, 1891 in rural Minot. He moved with his parents to the Foxholm area where he grew to manhood. After farming for a number of years, he moved into Grano; he was not married.
Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bloms of Minot, Mrs. Corneal Gruntjes of Carrington, Mrs. Herman Schmitz of Kenmare and Mrs. Leonard Backes of Glenburn and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Gene Engelhard, Isadore Engelhard, Hubert Streitz, Ralph Fuchs, Joe Sauer and Querin Fuchs.
