Fruitland, Duchesne County--LaVerna Young Casper, 47 died in a Duchesne hospital Tuesday at 12:10 p.m after a long illness.
Born in Heber, February 19, 1909, daughter of Robert and Sarah Faucett Young. Married to Dewey Roberts in Price in 1925. Later solemnized in Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Divorced. Married Farris Casper in Salt Lake in 1946. Active in Relief Society. Surviving: mother; husband; sons, daughters, Mrs. Blaine Killian, Mrs. Robert Richards, Murray; Karol, Max and Evan Roberts and Leon Casper, all Fruitland: two sisters, four brothers. Funeral Friday at 1:30 p.m. Fruitland Ward chapel. Friends call family residence Thursday evening and Friday until service time. burial in Fruitland Cemetery.
She is the Mother of Max Dee, Evelyn Faye, Elda Fern, Karol Lee & Evan Jay Roberts.
She also is the Mother of Leon Casper.
She was the wife of Dewey B. Roberts, later divorced.
