GLENNVILLE - Geraldine Lee Standard, 75, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in Savannah, Augusta and Atlanta for many years, moving back to Glennville in 1993 after retiring from American Mutual Insurance Company. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a wonderful wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Edgar and Lavonna Branch Lee; two brothers, Larry Lee and Robert Lee. Survivors: husband, Clifton Standard of Glennville; children, Larry Standard of Pooler, Debbie and Larry Hall of Monroe; brothers and sisters, Gene and Sara Lee of Glennville, Herman and Diane Lee of Glennville, Brenda Bargemann of Sanford, NC; two grandchildren, Chrastina Blaisdell and Matt Blaisdell; several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, August 4, 2011 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
