Edwin F. Vetter

Edwin F. Vetter, 63, Town of Liberty, died Tuesday afternoon at his time following a heart attack. He was born in the Town of Liberty in 1889. He was married May 27, 1916 to Marie Nass and the couple resided in the Town of Liberty all of their life.

Vetter was a farmer, carpenter, and operated a saw mill on the farm. Survivors include his widow; three daughters, Mrs.Bernice Pluess, Valders, and Mrs. Alice Cogswell and Miss Luella Vetter, both of Manitowoc; four sons, Elroy, Vernon, and Edward of Valders Route 1, and Willard of Delhi, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Lippert, Valders Route 1, Mrs. William Free, Manitowoc Route 2, and Mrs. Lydia Tomeschefsky, Maribel; and three brothers, Arthur and Walter, both of Manitowoc, and John of Manitowoc Route 1.

Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Liberty, Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Samuel Kugler will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetary. Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders, from Thursday at 2 p.m. until Friday at 11 a.m., when the body will be moved to the church.
