Funeral services are set for Thursday at 2 p m at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Altona. for Hennie Stuthmann of Altona. She died Tuesday at Wayne at the age of 89 years.
The Rev. Eugene Juergensen will officiate, and pallbearers are David Stuthmann, Joel Stuthmann, Tom Stuthmann, Vern Labs. Rodney Lueders, and Kenneth Koehlmoos. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Altona.
Hennie Behrens Stuthmann daughter of Gustav and Albertina Behrens, was born Jan 2. 1885 in Germany. As a small child, she came with her parents to the United States. She spent her entire life in the Altona community where she attended Christian Day School and was confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in 1899. On March 14. 1906 she married William Stuthmann at Altona.
She was preceded in death by her husband. June 7, 1948, two sisters. Rose Wolters and Amanda Hilpert and two grandsons.
Survivors include four sons, Gustav. Alfred. Melvin and Wilbert, all of Wayne; four daughters. Mrs. Herbert (Hilda) Labs of Wisner. Mrs. Frank (Helen) Walker of Madison. Mrs. Albert F. (Nidal) Lueders of Wane and Mrs. Gerald (Linda) Winter of Norfolk, 15 grandchildren. 13 great grandchildren one brother, Albert Behrens of Amherst. Colo. and one sister. Mrs. Matilda Pflueger of Fairbanks. Alaska.
