Mrs. Elizabeth Dieringer, 78, widow of Valentine, of 1025 Clara Ave., died Saturday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital, The former Elizabeth Rock, she was born in the Town of Meeme (Manitowoc County) Feb. 19, 1882, a daughter of the late Mathias and Magdaline Rock. She was educated at School Hill and married there to Mr. Dieringer, Nov. 5, 1906. The couple moved to Six Corners where Mr. Dieringer operated a blacksmith shop until 1936 when they moved to Sheboygan. The husband died in 1943. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Peter Claver Catholic Parish. Surviving are a son, Alphonse, Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Madeline) Langkau, Milwaukee, Mrs. Clarence (Marie) Nytes, Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Murphy, Waldo; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Five brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. The requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at St Peter Claver Church with the Rev. Robert M. Hoeller, pas-tor, celebrant Mass will follow 8:45 a.m. family rites at the Ramm Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
