1915 - Wilhelm Will

In Mellen, Ashland County where he and his wife were visiting with family members who live there, Mr. Wilhelm Will, a previous resident of Town Herman, Sheboygan County died on Thursday night from the weakness of age. The deceased who had reached the age of 86 years, was born in Hessen-Darmstad, Germany. He immigrated to America as a young man of 27 years and settled in Town Herman where he is counted as one of the pioneers of the area. He owned a farm there until 15 years ago when he entered into a well-deserved retirement. Since then the couple has lived alternately with their children in Cleveland, Sheboygan and Reedsville. Mr. Will was married twice and is survived by his second wife -nee Magdalena Seibel from Town Meeme, two children from his first marriage, William in Colby and Mrs. Louis Blank in Mellen and the following children from his second marriage, Cornelius in Town Herman, Andreas in Mellen, Mrs. Gustav Olm and Mrs. Fred Bergmann in Reedsville and John in Sheboygan. The coffin was brought to Sheboygan where on Monday a Requiem Mass was celebrated at the Catholic Church in Schwarzwald in Town Herman where he was laid to rest at the Catholic Cemetery
