A SPECIAL "THANK YOU!" TO RECORD HUNTER! For letting me have my uncle's memorial. Thanks! :-)

John Gideon & Bessie Woody-Bingham were the parents of Charles S. Bingham.

The above information was contributed by Record Hunter

Charles S. Bingham, "Uncle Charlie" as us kids called him, never married.

As a child he and some other children were playing in the barn. Charles fell out of the hay loft. As a result of that fall his back was broken. Charles' back did not heal back properly and he had a large hump on his back and walked bent over the rest of his life.

He lived with Gid and Bessie (his parents) his entire life.

He died as the result of a shooting incident (1910-1970).

Charles was buried at Ebenezer Cemetery near Scotts Hill, just down the road from where Gid and Bessie lived and he was raised.
