County, Tenn., he was a son of Joel
Gilbert and Martha Frances Christopher
Gower. On May 4,1972, he
married Connie Tennent, who survives.
A gospel music singer, Gower
retired in 1969 from McCoy-
Rubbins Insurance Co., then
worked for Union Bank Agency for
four years.
Also surviving are a son; four
daughters, including Connie
Sprague of Camden; three brothers;
two sisters; 24 grandchildren; and
several great-grandchildren and
step great-grandchildren. Three
brothers and a sister preceded him
in death.
Services were held this morning
in Kokomo with burial in Sunset
Memory Gardens.
