Siegfried F. Haupt, 89, of 4814 S. Union Road, Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon, July 24, 1986 at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Haupt was born December 14, 1896 in the Town of Newton, son of the late August and Bertha Vogt Haupt. He was a lifelong Town of Newton resident. He married the former Elsie C. Kolb on October 9, 1949 in the Town of Newton. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Haupt was active as a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Local.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie C.; a son and a daughter-in-law, Hubert and Marian Haupt of Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law, Verna and Bud Liermann of Manitowoc and Ethel Rusch of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Sanger, a granddaughter, Annette; two sons-in-law, Verlin and Darrell; six brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 pm to 9 pm Sunday afternoon and Monday at the church from 10 am until the hour of service.
