Funeral services will be conducted this Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs Willie Ella Bell, 84, native pioneer Center Point woman who died Friday at her home in Center Point, from the Methodist Church in Center Point with Rev Hart, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Center Point Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs Bell was born June 11, 1870 in Center Point and has lived all her life in that Kerr County community. Her life was entwined with the progress and well-being of her community and friends and she was beloved by all whom she came in contact. She was a member of the Methodist Church for more than 64 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Myrtle Grinstead; two brothers, L.L. Rees and C.J. Rees both of Center Point; and four sisters, Mrs Brownie Cocke of Rusk, Mrs Etta West of Center Point, Mrs Janie Carriger of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs Abby Deeherd of Orangeville, California. A number of nieces and nephews also mourn the passing of this splendid woman.
