Mrs Bell was born June 11, 1870 in Center Point and has lived all her life in that Kerr County community. Her life was entwined with the progress and well-being of her community and friends and she was beloved by all whom she came in contact. She was a member of the Methodist Church for more than 64 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Myrtle Grinstead; two brothers, L.L. Rees and C.J. Rees both of Center Point; and four sisters, Mrs Brownie Cocke of Rusk, Mrs Etta West of Center Point, Mrs Janie Carriger of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs Abby Deeherd of Orangeville, California. A number of nieces and nephews also mourn the passing of this splendid woman.
