Raymond B. Babler, 87, 1666 Hy. 42, Maplewood, died at Al-goma Long Terra Care Unit on July 5, 1989. He was born October 3, 1901 in Maplewood to the late Anton and Mary Babler. He lived and farmed all his life in the Maplewood area. He also worked several years in the shipyard at Sturgeon Bay. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Mr. Babler married November 26, 1929 in 'Namur to Myrtle DeKeyser. She preceded him in death on June 17, 1972. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Leland and Mary, Maplewood; four grandchildren, Larry, Laurie, Paul and Tina; four brothers, Clem, Tony, Alois, all of Green Bay; Francis, Two Rivers; one sister, Adeline Gorenz, Sheboygan. ' He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry; a grandson, Tony; and a sister, Helen. ; Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay. Prayer service 8:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, and then at 10 a.m. at the Holy Name of Mary Church, Maplewood with the Rev. Wilbert Buhl officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
