She married Nils Martin Johnson July 15, 1916 in Minersville, Utah and they had 7 children.
Dora was a very good homemaker. A great cook. She loved to tend to her large flower garden, especially her many types and colors of Iris. She also took up landscape painting in her later years. She got her first TV in the 50's. And her favorite show was Gunsmoke. She was always very close to her children who visited with her often. Her daughter Selma always lived close and tended to her needs. She had a pioneer spirit as did her ancestors and always looked for the best in life.
She died in the Milford Hospital on Feb 1980
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Sandra Gail Pedersen.
She is survived by her son Alden Johnson (Bene) Menlo Park, Calif, Carroll Basil (Jean) Johnson Iowa, Orlyn ( Dorris) Johnson, Salt Lake City, Utah, Nils Martin Johnson Jr (Bernice), Florida, Delane Johnson (Anna), Nevada, and by her daughter Selma Joy (Delmar) Kirk, Milford., Utah
As per her wishes no funeral services will be held and her body donated to the University of Utah Cancer Research Department.
