Robert Free, 74

Robert A. Free, 74, of Lucasville, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998 at Lucasville Convalescent Home.

He was born Aug. 27, 1924 in Otway, a son of the late Lafe and Maude Wilson Free. He was retired from Waller Brothers Stone Co.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Dell McCoy Free, whom he married Nov. 20, 1956; two sons, Robert Free of Peebles and Steve Free of Portsmouth; one step-son, George LeBrun of McDermott; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Russell Free and Lafe Free, both of Lucasville, David Free and Charles Free, both of McDermott, and Roger Free of Hopkinsville, Ky.; three sisters, Louise O'Dell of Tallahassee, Fla., Rosemary Phipps of Columbus and Martha Jackson of Marysville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with the Rev. Robert L. Davis officiating, and interment in Garvin Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
