Alice A. Weber-Sievert, 91, of New Holstein died Tuesday morning January 24, 2012 at Homestead Care Center New Holstein where she had been a resident for the past 10 years. She is the former Alice Lindemann, born on June 5, 1920 in the Town of Liberty, daughter of the late Arthur and Viola (Sternbeck) Lindemann.

Alice attended the former George Washington School in St. Nazianz and was a graduate of Kiel High School class of 1938.

On February 15, 1941 she married Gilbert Weber in New Holstein. Gilbert preceded her in death on October 20, 1978.

From 1959 until her retirement in 1982, Alice worked at the Salvatorian Center in New Holstein.

On July 3, 1982, Alice married Earl Sievert at St. Johns UCC in New Holstein. Earl preceded her in death on May 5, 2002.

She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, New Holstein.

Survivors include step children, Kerry (Bonnie) Sievert, Manitowoc, Karen (Jim) Becker, Chilton, step grandchildren and step great- grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister-in-law, Irene Lindemann, Kiel, nieces and nephews, Sandy (Randy) Neils, Kiel, Cheryl (Dave) Henning, Kiel, Debbie (friend David Mauer) Christenson, Plymouth, Marlene Krupp, St. Nazianz, Gene (Cindy) Sievert, Reedsville, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Gilbert and Earl, her twin sister, Gladys (Clarence) Sievert, a brother, Robert Lindemann and nephew, Dan Krupp.

Funeral services for Alice will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St. Kiel with the Rev. James Werner officiating. Burial will take place in the New Holstein City Cemetery
