Attend Funeral Of Mrs. DeMuynck
Quite a number attended the funeral services of Mrs. Elizabeth DeMuynck which was held from the Sacred Heart church at Remington last Thursday morning. Two priests were in the sanctuary. Rev. McHale officiated at the High Mass and delivered the sermon. Besides Sister Constance, daughter of Mrs. DeMuynck were eight other sisters from Fort Wayne, Lafayette and Remington, pupils from the Remington school taught by the Sister attended in a body, six nephews were pall bearers. Among the relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schrader, Mrs. Martha Buit of Lafayette, Mrs. M.J. Mulligan of Bradeley, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nowviski of Logansport, and Mrs. Etha Boon and son, John of Gary. The ladies are sisters and a sister-in-law of Mrs. DeMuynck. Interment was made in the Remington cemetery with the Foster Funeral Home in charge.
