Shotwell--died October 3, 1887, Mr. Jacob Shotwell, of Union Township, died of dropsy of the heart, at 3 o'clock Monday morning, aged about 80 years. His remains were buried in the Scott burying ground yesterday. He has been favorably known in the community for many years, having lived for forty years upon the farm where he died, and having reared a large family of sons and daughters.
