Lorene Pyles McLin, Piney Grove Spur Road, Nancy, died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born Aug. 27, 1919, in the Nancy community, daughter of the late Volantus and Sallie Garner Pyles. She was a retired Oakwood employee and member of Piney Grove Baptist Church No. 2, Nancy.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry (and Sharlene) McLin, Nancy, and Gary McLin, Somerset; a daughter, Dana Sue (and Roy) Roberts, Nancy; a brother, Lawrence Pyles, Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Pauline Albright, Dayton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Marisa, Rodrick, Christopher, Derrick, Whitney, Shanoah, Dena, Stephanie, Cameron and Terry; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian McLin, whom she married in 1934 in Nancy; her parents; two sons, Verl Dean and Donald Lee McLin; two daughters, Patricia McLin and Betty Jean Blau; and three brothers, Earl, Killus and Denny Pyles.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 12) at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bros. Merrell Crockett and Larry Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. today until time for services.
Memorials may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
