Died – At her home in the town of Stockbridge, on Thursday, March 16, 1905, Mrs. Nicholas Hein, aged 51 years, 9 months and 14 days.
Mary Franzen was born at Buffalo, N.Y., June 21, 1853, and was the daughter of Carl and Mary Franzen. In 1858 she came to Wisconsin with her parents and located in Marytown, Fond du Lac County. She was married at St. Cloud in 1871 to Nick Hein and two years later moved to Superior and later to Marshfield. Some nineteen years ago she moved with her husband onto a farm in the town of Stockbridge. Mrs. Hein had been an invalid for about five years, but was able to be up and around the house. She was a devoted wife and mother and highly respected by all who knew her.
The funeral took place on Monday from St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church at Kloten. Very Rev. July officiating. The remains were brought to his city for interment in the family lot in St. Mary's cemetery.
A husband, five sons, three daughters, two brothers and four sisters survive her. All of whom were in attendance at the funeral.
