Died-at the residence of his mother in Gonzales, on Thursday, Aug. 10, 1893, at 12 o'clock m., Lacelle Chenault, aged 16 years, 10 months and 2 days. Lacelle had been sick several weeks with slow fever. The remains were interred in the Public cemetery Friday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. New Harris officiating. Numerous friends and relatives will sympathize with the widowed mother in her bereavement.
