FRANK GRENZER
Frank Grenzer, 82, town of Chilton, passed away at his home. He had been ill for the past years.
He was born in Germany on Oct. 6, 1870, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grenzer. On Sept. 4, 1900 he was married to Anna Mainz at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic church in Kloten. Until his retirement about a year ago, he was a farmer in the town of Chilton. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, Branch 268 of Kloten, and the Holy Name Society of St. Elizabeth’s church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Gregor of West Allis, Henry, John and Ambrose, all of Chilton; four daughters, Mrs. George Diedrich of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Hugo Lodes of Manitowoc, Mrs. Ben Brickbauer of Stockbridge and Mrs. Josephine Kampfer of the town of Chilton; 23 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Amenski, Misses Helen and Mary Grenzer of Mt. Angel, Ore.
