LEO LaBARGE
CLYDE — The funeral for Leo LaBarge, 79, Clyde, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, the Rev. Robert Vering officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. Mr. LaBarge died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. He was born Sept. 6, 1898, at St. Joseph. He was a lifelong resident of Cloud County. Mr. LaBarge had been a pharmacist for 60 years, and had owned and operated a drug store at Clyde for 49 years. He was a member of the Clyde Catholic church, and the American Legion. He was a World War I veteran.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Gates, Winter Park, Fla.; two sons, Charles L., Farmington, Conn., and Robert D., Edmonds, Wash.; two brothers, Homer, Clyde, and Edward, Concordia; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be at 7:45 p.m. Sunday followed by an 8 p.m. Bible service at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde, where friends may call.
