CONCORDIA — The funeral for Edward Labarge, 87, Concordia, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, the Rev. Loren Werth officiating. Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia, with military services.
Mr. Labarge died Friday at Kenwood View Nursing Home, Salina. He was born March 29, 1893, at St. Joseph, Kan. He was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Cloud County. Mr. Labarge was a World War I veteran serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Concordia.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret, Concordia; a daughter, Mrs. Delores Michelson, Concordia; a step-daughter, Mrs. Janice Sicard, Manhattan; two brothers, Fred, Santa Monica, Calif., and Homer, Aurora; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel where friends may call.
