Mrs. Edythe A. Mackert, 71, formerly of 110 S. Henry St., Madison, died Monday in Madison General Hospital, Madison, following an extended illness.

Private family funeral services are scheduled.

Mr. Mackert, nee Edythe Kadow, was born Sept. 26, 1907, in Manitowoc, and was a former salesperson for a real estate firm. Her husband, Commander Robert W. Mackert, preceded her in death in 1944.

Survivors include a son, Robert Mackert of St. Cloud, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Penola Campbell of Dublin, Ireland and Judge Moria Krueger of Madison, a sister, Grace Hansen of Manitowoc and three grandsons.

Fitch-Lawrence-Sanfillippo Funeral Home, Madison, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Wisconsin Lung Association, 1701 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, Wis. 53233.
