Mrs. Tarbox was a homemaker and had resided in Newburyport for 65 years.
She was born in Lawrence on December 14, 1910, the daughter of Autin and Margaret (McGowan) Hall.
Mrs. Tarbox was also a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
She is survived by a son, four daughters, four sisters, Margaret Adams, Winifred Carroll, Mary Shea and Edna Finnegan, all of Newburyport, 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the George E. Twomey Funeral Home, followed by a funeral mass at 9 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are tomorrow, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
