Gage Services Held
Reading -- Funeral services were held Monday morning, in the Church of the Assumption, for Kathryn Fagan Gage of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Reading. The services were conducted by the Rev. Varin Slacke, O.F.M. Pallbearers were J.G. McAntee, Leo Brandon, Bernard Fagan and Thomas Whitaker. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Relatives who attended from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brandon, Topeka; J.G. McAntee, Admire, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fagan, Emporia.
Mrs. Gage, who died Friday in the St. Andrew Home in Chicago, was bornJune 26th, 1881, in Reading, and had lived for many years in Chicago, where she was employed in clerical work before she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Kathryn Fagan, and by three brothers, John, James and Frank Fagan, and three sisters, Agnes Carney, Julia Luther and Mary Kirn. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
