LOUISE MARY BRADY
Louise M. Brady, age 97, a resident of the Shady Lane Nursing Care Center,
1235 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, formerly of 929 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, entered
eternal rest Thursday, April 28, 2005, at the care center. A memorial Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Joachim Swarick at 10 a.m.
Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1114 S. 21st St., Manitowoc. Cremation will
have taken place with burial of the cremains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Louise was born March 4, 1908 in Ashland. She was the daughter of the late John
and Helen Kluck VanSerke. Louise attended Manitowoc Public Schools and was
employed as a telephone operator for Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company for 37
years before retiring in 1959. On May 25, 1944, she married Francis J. Brady at
St. Mary Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Francis preceded Louise in death May 9,
1979. Louise was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and previously a member
of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Louise is survived by one sister: Johanna Klein, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law:
Mary VanSerke, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends
survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Francis in 1979; one
sister; and several brothers.
Friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church on Monday, May 2, 2005, from 9:30
a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and
Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with
funeral arrangements.
