Thursday evening, April 29, 1999, at the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 1999, at the
Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert
Drobka, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born June 19, 1912, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and
Catherine Zipperer Traurig. On October 12, 1937, she married Harold J.
Chavalia,
at Ludington, Mich. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1973.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Dennis Schmitt,
Manitowoc; four sisters; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
along
with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc from 3:30 p.m. Sunday until the time of service at 4 p.m.
