PAUL O. DICKERT

Paul Dickert, 65, of 418 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning of a
heart attack as he was backing his auto out of his driveway on the way to
church.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,
the Rev. Theodore Sauer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Dickert was born Nov. 12, 1899, at Potter, Calumet County, son of the late
Robert Dickert and Mrs. Emma Schultz Dickert Lemke. He came to Manitowoc with
his parents when eight years of age. He was a welder’s helper at Manitowoc
Shipbuilding Inc., and a member of Boilermakers Local 443. He married Mrs. Hilda
Weichert Oct. 3, 1953, at Manitowoc.
Surviving are the wife, a stepson, Clarence Weichert, of Maywood, Ill., his
mother, a brother, Robert, of Manitowoc; five sisters, Mrs. Arthur Naidl, of Rt.
4, Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward Swetlik of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, Mrs. Hilda Wuellner and
Mrs. Christ Pietersen, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Paul Behnke, of Brillion; and two
step-grandchildren. A sister and two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street entrance,
Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday and then at the church.
