Robert Dickert, a prominent town of Rockland farmer, died at Madison last Friday at the age of 53 years, in a Madison Hospital. The funeral was held on Monday from the Dickert home in Rockland and the remains were then conveyed to Manitowoc for interment in Evergreen Cemetery after the services in the Lutheran church there.
The deceased was born in Germany and came to America in 1883, locating on a farm in Rockland. In 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Emma Schultz.
He is survived by the widow and ten children, four sons and six daughters. The sons are Edwin, Paul, Elvin and Robt. Jr. The daughters are Mrs. Paul Lindemann of Sheboygan, Elsie, Clara, Hilda, Violet and Adeline, all at home. There are four sisters and three brothers.
Besides the immediate relatives and friends who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. W. Behnke of Manitowoc. Mr. Dickert lived here for several years and was highly esteemed by all.

yesterday were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Busse of Reedsville, Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Dickert of Reedsville and Mr. and Mrs. John Otto of Madison.
