VERA R. (PIECHOCKY) HANSEN

Vera R. Hansen, age 60, a Two Rivers resident, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at
Holy Family Memorial-Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2001 at Our
Savior Ev. Lutheran Church, 34th & Tannery Road, Two Rivers, WI. Rev. Louis
Sievert will officiate with burial of her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Vera was born September 19, 1940 at Townsend, WI., daughter of the late Thomas &
Margaret Barstow Koch. She graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School with the
Class of 1958. She was employed at Holy Family Memorial-Medical Center for 33 years
until her illness. She was married to Ervin Piechocky on August 30, 1958 at First
German Ev. Lutheran Church, Ervin preceded her in death February 5, 1997. Married
Robert T. Hansen May 24, 1998 at Reno, Nevada. She was a member of Our Savior Ev.
Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Vera enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband: Robert J. Hansen, Two Rivers; Children include:
Steve Piechocky, Manila, Philippines; a daughter: Wendy Piechocky, New Hosltein
and her fiance Steve Lautenschlaeger; Steve & Melody Hansen, Manitowoc; Scott &
Sonja Hansen, Manitowoc; Sherrie & Bruce Suettinger, Two Rviers; Special friend:
Kenneth Lecoque, Manitowoc; grandchildren include: Jamie Piechocky, Tanya Meyer,
Alysha & Trisha Stueck, Aaron & Jenny Hansen, Taylor & Rachael Hansen; Craig &
Megan Suettinger. Seven brothers: Leonard (Lulabelle) Koch, Green Bay; Ronald
(Zita) Koch, Plymouth; Thomas Jr. (Karen) Koch, Rosendale; Philip Sr. (Gail) Koch,
Manitowoc; David Koch, LeRoy (Sandi) Koch, Brillion; Robert (Connie) Koch, Manitowoc.
Four sisters: Vivian (Raymond) Nienhaus, Valders; Elsie (Eugene) Berndt, St. Nazianz;
Elnora Sermons and Barbara Moor, Cabat, Arkansas. Nieces, nephews other relatives
and friends also survive.
Relatives and friends may gather after 10:00 a.m. Friday at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran
Church, Two Rivers until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Family Memorial Cancer Care Center would be
appreciated.
Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is serving the Family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lynn Baatz and her staff at the Cancer Care
Center and the caring staff at Holy Family Memorial-Medical Center. Special Thanks
to Pastor Louis Sievert for his visits, prayers and encouragement.
