ANNA C. KOURIL
Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Kouril, 94, a resident of Holy Family Hospital Extended Care,
formerly of 532 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Friday evening, April 30, at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Hearth (sic) Catholic
Church. The Rev. William Zimmer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mrs. Kouril was born Feb. 22, 1888, at Two Creeks, Wis., daughter of the late
Frank and Anna Schleis Karas. She grew up and was educated in the Two Creeks area
moving to Manitowoc in later years. She was married to Amos Chadek, he preceded
her in death in 1926. She was then married to Joseph Kouril, he preceded her in
death in 1953. Mrs. Kouril was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sister, Mrs. Josephine Dvorak of Mishicot and Mrs. Lucille
Henrickson of Two Rivers and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two
brothers and three sisters.
There will be no visitation. Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in
charge of funeral arrangements.
