ELIZABETH MAZANET

Mrs. Elizabeth Mazanet, 79, of Manitowoc, died at the Manitowoc County Hospital
Monday evening. She had been residing with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Krause, of 1450 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Rev. E. A. Radey officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Mazanet, nee Konop, was born June 8, 1885, at Stangelville, daughter of the
late Henry and Elizabeth Vodchadlo Konop. She was married to Frank M. Mazanet
Aug. 4, 1902, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Stangelville. Her husband preceded
her in death Jan. 9, 1910. Mrs. Mazanet resided at Stangelville until 26 years
ago when she moved to Manitowoc to live with her daughter. She was a member of
the Altar Society.
Surviving are three sons, Edward of Chicago, Frank of Madison and Fred J. of
Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Lawrence of Kenosha and Mrs. Edward Krause
of Manitowoc; two brothers, Henry of Green Bay and Thomas of South Bend, Ind.;
four sisters, Mrs. Jacob Schleis Sr., of Rt. 1, Kewaunee, Mrs. Joseph Peot of
Luxemburg, Mrs. Emily Kugle of Reedsville and Mrs. Mary Rericha of Chicago, 11
grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Three brothers and five sisters preceded
her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday and the Rosary will be
recited at 7:30 p.m. by members of the Altar Society. Daughter of Isabella and
parish.
