Mrs. Norman Moderson, 50, of N8645 fire Lane 10, Menasha, died unexpectedly Sunday at her home.
The former Jane Ott, she was born March 6, 1933, in the town of Brillion, a daughter of the late Alfred and Elsie Hacker Ott.
She and Medrick Parkin were married. He died in 1973. On Sept 23, 1980, she and Norman Moderson were married in Brillion.
Mrs. Moderson worked at Forest Junction State Bank for 13 years.
She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Brillion, and its Women’s Guild, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Brillion.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Debra) Marks of Madison, Mrs. Terrence (Danette) Eiting of Kaukauna and Diane Parkin of Brillion; three sons, Douglas Parkin of Fort Collins, Colorado, Dean and Darryl, both of Brillion; three step-daughters, Mrs. William (Doris) Fehlandt and Mrs. Leon (Sandy) Wilkosz, both of Wausau, and Mrs. Richard (Julie) Edwards of Winchester; four step-sons, Mike and Jim Moderson, both of Menasha, Mark of Antigo and Terry of Neenah; one grandson, Matthew Eiting; 13 step-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Huebner and Mrs. Helen Robinson, both of Brillion, and Shirley Ott, Chilton; and five brothers, Roger Ott of Menasha, Harold of Kimberly, Wallace of DePere, Leo of Brillion and Ray of Seymour. She was preceded in death by one brother, Roland.
The funeral service was held Wednesday morning at Peace UCC, Brillion, with the Rev. Roger Mealiff, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Brillion Community Cemetery.
