died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon at Holy Family
convent Chapel. The Rev. Julian Resch, O. Praem, officated with burial in the
convent cemetery.
Sister Azarias, nee Frances Engeldinger, was born May 14, 1903, at Manitowoc,
daugher of the late Nic and Frances Augustine Engeldinger. She entered the order
of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Jan. 7, 1924, and professed her vows
Aug. 15, 1926. Sister Azarias had taught at Manistique Mich., Sturgeon Bay,
Plymouth, Kaukauna, Kewaunee, Hollandtown, Oneida, Antigo, Waukesha, Maple Grove,
Green Bay and Manitowoc. She presently was stationed at St. Mary School,
Greenleaf.
