Couple Observes Golden Event At Home Thursday
Fifty years of marriage were celebrated Thursday evening by Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Csida at their home, near St. Nazianz. Relatives and friends called during the afternoon and evening hours expressing good wishes and bringing gifts of money and a large cake.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Csida were born in Hungary the former on April 4, 1875 and the latter on Dec. 31, 1877. Their parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Csida and Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Konz. In 1895, both families came to this country, settling in New Jersey. After their marriage in Patterson, N. J., the newlyweds moved to Passaic, N. J., where they resided for three years. The couple then went to Wisconsin, settling in Medford for three years before coming to live in Sheboygan. Mr. Csida and his wife resided on a farm in Town Schleswig, until his retirement in 1943. Their present home is near St. Nazianz.

Fourteen children were born to the couple, five having died in infancy. The sons and daughters living are as follows: Mrs. Harry (Anna) Kuenne, Joseph and Henry, of Sheboygan, Steve of Shiocton, Mrs. Joseph (Gertrude) Knier, Mrs. Harold (Sylvia) Sohn, both of Route 2, Kiel, Mrs. Clarence (Louise) Koeppen, and Jerome, both of Route 1, Valders, and Mrs. Herman (Rose) Bratz, of Manitowoc. The family circle includes 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Although Mr. Csida is enjoying good health, his wife has been bedridden for the past three years.
