Elizabeth (Mitchell) Brown Wilkins was a native of Maine and relocated to Lowell, MA with her family by the time of the 1880 census. She married and her daughter was born there. The family relocated to Cedar Rapids, IA about 1909. Lizzie was very interested in her famiy history and became a member of the DAR. It was through her research I was able to learn much about her family.
