Mrs. Lola Pearl McKibban, 81, died at the Mercy Hospital in Elwood Sunday afternoon after an extended illness.

Mrs. McKibban was born Dec. 25, 1900, the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Abell. She was married to the Rev. Zeus McKibban 60 years ago. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Elwood.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter; Mrs. KimmonJones Sr., Elwood; two sons: Melvin McKibban, Terre Haute and Ronald McKibban, Columbus, Ohio; two sisters: Gladys Bradley, Frankfort, and Katherine McMillian, Springfield, Ohio; two brothers: Alvin Abell, North Vernon and Charles Abell, Evansville; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The services will be conducted at the United Pentecostal Church at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. David Bryan and the Rev. Lester McGruder officiating, and with burial in the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dunnichay Funeral Home in Elwood after 7 p.m. today and after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
