Florence "Flossie" E. Boulger, 68, of Ottumwa Route 8 died Dec 24, 1984, at her home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1916, at Fredricksburg to Alonzo Verle and Maggie Linder Brown. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she was and employee of the Elks for more than 20 years. SHe was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 of the American Legion Auxiliary. She married Lawrence Boulger April 25, 1943, in Ottumwa.
She is survived by her husband; her mother, Maggie Brown of Packwood; two sisters, Mary Richardson of Packwood and Margaret McQueen of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Thomas of Packwood, Bruce of Huntington Park, Calif., and Chester of Dover, Del.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul C. Hart officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Delmar Collier, George Wagner, Bob Bemis, Gene Sigman, Ivan Engle and Charles Townsley.
A memorial has been established to the Elks.
