Warren Mason Callahan was born on 27 June 1920 to John Everett and Beatrice (Mason) Callahan in Benton, (Ringgold Co.) Iowa. He was the second of four boys born to their union.

During his lifetime, Warren valiantly fought for our country during World War II, received many commendations and obtained the rank of Captain during his service. He also lived in various places all across the United States.

Warren was married six times during his lifetime and had at least three daughters.

Warren was first married to Rickey Ann Leville (or Leveille, I'm unsure of spelling) on 18 May 1944 in Alexandria, (Rapides Co.) Iowa. It is unclear whether they had children together or not OR when their marriage dissolved.

He then married Georgia Jane (Heavner) Wertheimer on 21 July 1949 in Florida. This couple had (at least) one daughter and divorced in 1952 in Dade County, Florida sometime before 26 May).

His third marriage was on 26 May 1952 in Lake Charles, (Calcasieu Co) Louisiana to Cocile Paulet Swim. I do not believe they had any children together and they were divorced sometime before January of 1957.

Warren then married Marguerite C Atchley on 12 January 1957 in Las Vegas, (Clark Co) Nevada. They had (at least) one daughter and were divorced sometime before October 1959.

On October 24 1959, Warren was united in marriage to Elaine Roseanna Nelson. The couple had (at least) one daughter and were married for almost 15 years before their divorce in August of 1974 in El Dorado County, California.

His last wife was Barbara Lucena "Buzz" (Sawyer) Williams. It is unclear (at this point in my research) whether Warren and Buzz were divorced or if they were married at the time of his death, but they had no children together. They were married sometime after her first husband's passing (he died in July of 1975).

On 27 January 1999, Warren passed away while he was living in California. He was laid to rest in the Court of Honor at the Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, (Sacramento Co.) California. Buzz and her first husband are also buried in this same section of the cemetery (I am unsure if they are buried near each other or not).
