Eugene Magliocco, 81, of the Malaga section of Franklin Township, died early Sunday morning, August 10, 2003 in the St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE, after a brief illness.
Mr. Magliocco was born and raised in Malaga and was a lifelong resident. He was one of ten children born to the late Luigi and Maria Baldino Magliocco. He was the husband of the late Rose Montemurro, who died in 1989. Maggie retired in 1989 from Marshall's Service in Newfield where he was employed as a truck driver for many years. He had also driven for Buglio Trucking and LoBiondo Trucking companies.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Eugene "Butch" and wife Linda Marie of Forest Grove; three grandchildren, Eugene "Gene" III, Michael and Tina Marie Magliocco; a sister, Rita Pacifico of Philadelphia; and two brothers, Louis Magliocco of Elmer and James "Jiggs" Magliocco of Newfield.
His funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in the St. Mary's R.C. Church, Malaga, with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Relatives and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and again from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland.
