Mrs. George M. Davis of Rock Glen died at her home Saturday, November 11, 1939. She was born in Marilla, June 10, 1860, the daughter of John and Margaret McDonald Shea. Elizabeth Shea and George M. Davis were united in marriage 57 years ago this Thanksgiving.
She is survived by her husband; five children, Dr. George G. Davis of Arcade, Rev. Harold H. Davis of Port Huron, Michigan, Edward M. Davis of Rock Glen, Alvah B. Davis of Fargo, N. Dakota, Miss Marguerite Davis of Rock Glen; 8 grandchildren; and a brother, John Shea of Batavia. She was a member of the Rock Glen Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at her late home with Rev. Allan McKinley. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Gainesville.
