For over 30 years I have been actively recording information from cemeteries in South Central Kansas and Southern Missouri. Part of that information I have added to Find A Grave and I continue to add additional data daily.|
I will add additional information or links as requested to the memorials I have created. Use the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "edit" tab that can be accessed from each memorial. If you post corrections as a message on my profile page they will be deleted and the memorials will not be updated.
I will add obituaries to memorials only if the individual requesting the addition is a family member OR if the death of the memorialized individual occurred over 10 years ago.
If you want to request a transfer of a family member, please read the following:
Please contact me via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you. Also include in your request your unique Contributor ID # which is displayed to the right of your member name on your profile page. If you post a transfer request as a message on my profile page or email it to me the request will be deleted and not done.
If you are wanting a response to your SAC message please include your email address if you have it set to not display on your profile page and not automatically included in your SAC.
Find A Grave suggests that transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
For ALL transfer requests you must provide your relationship to the individual you are requesting. If you do not, the request will be deleted.
Do Not make bulk surname transfer requests - "I want all the Smiths you have" or "I want all the Jones in Hillcrest Cemetery"

Thanks for photographing her grave for memorial 104623937. That confirms she is buried there. Was it next to her husband's grave? (I can see a marker next to her grave, but I cannot read the inscription on it.)

Bill, I really appreciate the time and effort you took to take the photo of this grave marker. Apparently you know the cemetery fairly well since you are also the originator of this memorial. Thank you for all the work you do for Find A Grave.

Zulah Swindler Studebaker Pontius was my godmother.
I see that she is listed as Zulah R. Pontius.
I think that is a mistake.
Her name on my baptismal papers is Zulah Kathleen Pontius, and my mother called her Zulah Kathleen.

Can you please tell me where you found her maiden name? I've known for a long time that she was married twice, but never could find a record of her maiden name.
Thank you for your work and your help,
|JoEllen Forward Greenlee||Fred Stewart Greenlee|
Please accept the change I made to Fred Stewart Greenlee's nickname. I am his daughter-in-law and even though his middle name is spelled S-t-e-w-a-r-t he went by the nickname Stu and spelled it that way. That is how his friends and family referred to him.
Thanks JoEllen Greenlee
