Dies at Home in Michigan Last Friday
Early Life Spent in This Vicinity.

Bartholomew M. Stack passed away at his home in Manistee, Mich., Friday, September 1, after an illness of several months with yellow jaundice and complications. Bartholomew M. Stack was born May 3, 1868 at East Peoria. His early boyhood was spent on a farm near El Paso and he attended the McOmber school. He married Julia Bonner in 1899. to them was born one daughter. His wife passed away in September, 1901. In 1903 he married Katherine Miller who died in October 1930. He spent most of his later life in Chicago until he moved to North Dakota in 1914. After his wife's death in 1930 he returned to Chicago until going recently to Manistee to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Matt.(Marguerite)Robert and husband.
Surviving besides his daughter are one brother, Martin Stack of El Paso, and one sister, Mrs Annie Mahoney of Chicago. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the chapel a 929 west Belmont Ave to St. Sebastian's church and burial was in Mr Olivet cemetery. Relatives attending the funeral from El Paso were Martin Stack, Miss Marguerite Stack, Edwin Stack, Mr and Mrs. Thomas Enright, Mr and Mrs. Clarence Guinnee of Minonk also attended.
