DEATH AT EL PASO
--------
John Stack a Well Known Farmer is Called

Special to the Bulletin.

El Paso, Ill, Feb. 14 -- Mr John Stack, a well-to-do farmer living two miles east of this city, died yesterday morning after a brief illness. Mr Stack was 70 years old and has been feeble for some time. He was a native of Ireland and came to this county several years ago and settled on a farm just east of this city. Besides an aged wife he leaves six sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. He was a devout member of the Catholic church and the funeral will be held from St Mary's Church at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning.

Death of John Stack
last Monday morning at about 3 o'clock, John Stack, one of the best known residents of this community, passed away after a very short illness. Mr Stack has been feeble for three or four years, ever since he met with a severe accident at that time. He had been confined to his home ever since Christmas, but had been in bed but a few days. His death was rather unexpected even by members of the family. Death was due to Bright's disease.
Mr Stack was born in County Kerry, Ireland, June 24 1824. He came to this country in 1841. He married Winifred O'Connor in 1855. She with 8 children survive him. One daughter died in infancy and another daughter, Mary, died at 20 years of age. The children are James, of Nebraska; Bat and Will of Chicago, John and Martin who have been at home; Mrs Margaret Keenan and Miss Anna of Peoria; and Miss Winnie who resides at home. All the children excepting James were with him when he passed away and their presence seemed to be of more comfort to him than anything they could do for him in his last hours. James arrived home the next morning after his father's death. Mr Stack had lived in this vicinity of El Paso for more than 26 years. The family has the sincere sympathy of their many friends.
The funeral services where held from St Mary's new church Wednesday morning at 10:30 and was attended by a very large concourse of neighbors and friends. Fr Quinlan conducted mass.
