MARTIN STACK DIES AT HOME NEAR SECOR

Martin Stack, 76, farmer and lifelong resident of the El Paso area, was found dead in bed at his home on route 24; two miles east of Secor, Monday morning (Oct 15, 1951). Mr. Stack had been in ill health for several years.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in El Paso, IL. The Rev Omar Fulton of Cullom officiated. Burial was in St Mary's Cemetery. The Vincent Memorial Home announced arrangements.

Mr. Stack was born March 31, 1875, east of El Paso, the son of John and Winnifred O'Connor Stack. He married Catherine Cleary June 24, 1900. She died June 14, 1951.

Surviving are five sons and three daughters, Miss Marguerite Stack, Donald Stack and Edwin Sack, all at home, Mrs. Marie Pankey of Park Forest, Garnet Stack of El Paso. Raymond Stack and Mrs. Kathryn Kimpler, both of Peoria, and William Stack of Aurora, and 10 grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death.

Mr. Stack was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of El Paso, IL and the Holy Name Society.
